Amitabh Bachchan says an unknown person has been sending derogatory and abusive material on his blog and mobile phone. After enduring it for months, he has filed a police complaint.
"There is a serious effort by a member that writes and comments on this blog to use language and expression that is abusive, filthy and utterly disgusting," Big B wrote on his bigb.bigadda.com.
"I have brought this to the notice of the authorities and (sought) corrective measures to see none of the stuff that comes from this foul mouthed individual shall ever be allowed on this platform. Any further attempt from this person shall now be under legal cyber space action, now very prominently activated in the country.
"This blog, this platform, this home for our extended family members is a sacred and revered destination and any attempt to defile it shall be dealt with in the most severe manner," he added.
Amitabh further revealed he is also receiving derogatory messages on his phone.
"Further more. This individual has been sending me the most unprintable abuse on SMS on my phone. I have, after great tolerance for months, reported the matter to the police and they will be taking serious punitive action, not just in my country but in the country of the origin of these missives."

Sholay (Hindi: शोले, Urdu: شعلے) (English: Embers) is an Indian "Curry Western" film directed by Ramesh Sippy. It is the biggest hit in the history of Bollywood, India's Hindi film industry. Released on August 15, 1975, it stars Dharmendra, Sanjeev Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Jaya Bhaduri and Amjad Khan. The movie, shot in the rocky terrain of Ramanagara(actual village in Karnataka),[2] is the story of two hired hands, trying to capture a ruthless dacoit by the name of Gabbar Singh.
Sholay is the highest grossing film of all time in Indian cinema. It has earned Rs. 768,81,00,000, equivalent to US$ 160 million, after adjusting for inflation.[3] When first released, the film was declared a commercial disaster. Word of mouth convinced movie-goers to give the film a chance and soon it became a box-office phenomenon. It ran for 286 weeks straight (more than five years) in one Mumbai theatre, the Minerva. Sholay racked up a still record 60 golden jubilees across India and doubled its original gross over reruns during the late 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s.[3] Sholay was the first film in the history of Indian cinema to celebrate silver jubilee (25 weeks) at over a hundred theatres across India.[3]
In 1999, BBC India declared it the "Film of the Millennium"; Indiatimes movies ranks the movie amongst the Top 25 Must See Bollywood Films.[4] In that same year, the judges of the 50th annual Filmfare awards awarded it with a special award called Filmfare Best Film of 50 Years.

It's a birthday shocker for megastar Amitabh Bachchan. The actor, who was celebrating with his family at his residence 'Pratiksha', was taken to Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital on Saturday afternoon following complaints of stomach pain. He was kept under observation there, but less than an hour later, was referred to Lilavati Hospital, located five km from there. He has been admitted to Lilavati and will stay there for few days.

Bachchan falls ill on birthday, hospitalised
| Superstar Amitabh Bachchan [Images], who turned 66 on Saturday, has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after he complained of abdominal pain, hospital sources said. Bachchan was earlier taken to Nanavati Hospital, where X-rays of his stomach and chest were taken. He then proceeded to Lilavati Hospital in suburban Bandra. He has been admitted under Jayant Barve, who is also his family doctor, the sources said. Bachchan had been at home since morning, receiving friends and relatives who had come to wish him. The actor is not be celebrating the occasion owing to his mother Teji Bachchan's demise in December 2007. Fans gathered outside 'Jalsa' in the suburbs were shocked to see an ambulance entering the bungalow and then taking the actor, who was accompanied by son Abhishek, to the hospital. Bachchan's daughter Shweta Nanda, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai [Images] and family friend and Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh [Images] followed the ambulance in a car. The actor, who is shooting for Teen Patti in the city, took a day off to be with his family and grand children who have come from Delhi [Images]. In November 2005, Bachchan was operated at Mumbai's Leelavati hospital after he developed intestinal problems. He could resume work only after a two-month break.
